ケリーオハラのスピーチは最後にI'm going to do the worm!と言って、踊りながら舞台を去っていきました。言っている意味がわかればなんてことはないのですが、一瞬なんの意味かと思ってしまいました。

こういうのは辞書には載っていないものですが、ヒップホップダンスで「ワーム」とそのままの言葉で動きを説明している動画がありました。



本来のwormは文字どおり「いも虫」のような動きをするもののようですが、くねらせる動きをwormと呼ぶこともあるのかもしれません。

A break dance that involves the person getting on the floor (stomach down) and moving in a curvy wave sort of like how a worm moves, hence the title.
