IKEAはhome furnishings

たまたま南船橋を通りかかったときにIKEAを見たところ、home furnishingsとありました。Furnitureよりもカバーする範囲が広いようですね。韓国公式vol5にもPerelman Furnishingsが登場していました。求人広告や職務内容でmust be able to lift heavy items and use tools for moving and assemblyと具体的に明記するところに慣れておきたいですね。

ニトリのホームページには以下のようにありました。家具にインテリア用品も含んだものという感じのようです。

TOEIC的に押さえておきたいのはfurnishedという表現のほうでしょうか。家具付きというのは日本ではあまりないですから。fully furnishedといったコロケーションだけではなく、反意語のunfurnishedまで一緒に覚えてしまいたいですね。
