先日紹介した不動産屋向けの広告。「おまかせください」に当たる表現がありました。ちょっと丁寧にみていきます。
（導入 キャッチ）
We all know the motto of real estate agents is location, location, location. But what it really should be is signs, signs, signs.
（不動産業者のモットーが一にも二にも立地であることは誰もがご存知ですが、でも本当は一にも二にも看板であるべきです）
広告の導入では関心を集めるような語り口が求められます。ここでは「実は〜」みたいなノリで興味を引こうとしています。TOEICでもbut did you know ...?で同じような効果を狙ったものがありました。
Creative Arts and Crafts Emporium is the number one store for arts and crafts supplies in the area. But did you know that in addition to selling supplies, we also offer classes?
（キャッチの補足）
Nothing reaches your potential clients better than high-impact signs when they’re already looking to buy or rent whether you want to promote a single residence or large commercial property.
（インパクトのある看板ほど見込み客に効果的なものはありませんから。すでに購入もしくは賃貸を考えているお客ならなおさらで、一戸建てや大型商業施設のどちらのプロモーションでも効果的です）
良さ・利点を訴えるには比較表現がぴったりです。ここではNothing reaches … better than high-impact signsが使われています。TOEICでもThere is no better timeやmany more than any other …のような表現を広告で見つけることができます。

have XX –edの形はTOEICではXX=モノのイメージが強いですが、人もありのようですね。
Our refrigerated display case is broken. We hope to have it repaired by this weekend if not sooner.
Signarama has you coveredの部分を「おまかせください」とするのは意訳に思えるかもしれませんが、「〜をカバーする」という語義からそれほど離れていないのでイメージはしやすいですね。TOEICでは他の人のシフトをカバーする場合に登場していました。

え・・行きたいけど、お金無いよ僕。

以下の広告のように見出しでhas you coveredが使われていものもたくさん見つけることができます。
