（続）Inflection point in history

先日紹介した inflection pointが早速使われていたのでご紹介します。

There's still a lot of uncertainty and I'm so curious for your view of the future here. When we look back on this time, what do you think the defining tech trend or inflection point will be of the COVID era?

まだ不確定なことがたくさんありますが、将来をどのようにお考えでしょうか。この時代を振り返ってみた時、何がテクノロジーの流れを変えたと思うでしょう。コロナ時代の転換点は何でしょう。

やはりニュアンス的に、重要な転換点という意味合いがありそうです。

When we look back on this timeという表現も、コロナのような大変な時期を特徴づける際に色々使われています。

When we look back on this time in history, we can say with some certainty that the pandemic acted as a great accelerator. 

歴史上この時を振り返ってみて、ある程度確実に言えるのはパンデミックは変革を急速に促す役割を果たしたことだ。

I know these steps are hard but we must not waver as we enter the final stretch.

So that when we look back on this time of crisis, we can all say that we played our part.

これらの取り組みは大変ですが、最後の段階で怯んではなりません。

そうすれば、この時を振り返った時に、皆がそれぞれの役割を果たしたと言えることでしょう。

I do think that when we look back on this time, there’s going to be a great recognition of the amount of trauma that is done to health care workers, families and patients alike.

思うにこの時を振り返った時に、辛い体験が広く知れ渡ることになるでしょう。医療従事者や家族、患者それぞれが体験しています。
