アメリカでは大きな注目を集めているニュース「1月6日特別委員会」でのリズ・チェイニー開会の言葉です。最後にあったoath of officeをすぐに聞き取れなかったので聞き直しました。

不思議なもので聞き取れると何てことはないので不思議です。大統領就任式で見かける例のやつですね。

日本語訳

大統領は、その職務の遂行を開始する前に、次のような宣誓又は確約をしなければならない。「私は合衆国大統領の職務を忠実に遂行し、全力を尽して合衆国憲法を維持、保護、擁護することを厳粛に誓う（又は確約する）[3]」

Foxニュースはこの委員会の様子を放映していないそうだし、当のトランプもkangaroo courtだと意に介していないようです。まあ当人が確信犯だったらはなから認めるつもりはないでしょうね。
