ダビデとゴリアテ再び

前のブログでも何度もご紹介させていただいたダビデとゴリアテのイメージ。

ラテン語と英語の違いか、英語では聖書関連の発音は違ってしまうので、ダビデがデイビッド、ゴリアテがゴライアスになるので気をつけたいですね。

先ほど紹介させていただいたセグウエイ発明家のDean Kamenが自分をDavidに見立てて語っていました。オックスフォードに載っていような意味で彼も使っていますね。
