ふと今週のTIMEを読んでいて読者投稿欄のタイトルがConversationになっていることに気づきました。これまではTIMEはInboxを使っていました。
Inboxは日本語のOutlookでは受信トレイとなっています。ということはOutboxは送信トレイですね。

ちょっと調べてみたら、Inboxが使われていたのは2013年７月22日号で、Conversationになったのは７月29日号でした。ちなみにEconomistはLettersで、New YorkerはThe Mailでした。Economistはいまだに紙の手紙をセクション冒頭の写真として載せています。TIMEも1969年の頃はLettersでした。いつInboxにしたんですかね。
特に断りもなかったですが、電子メールの賞味期限が切れつつあると判断してのことなんでしょうか、5年後、10年後のTOEICでの電子メールの出題が気になるところですね（笑）
